Committed to Safety

Kate Baker is a strong supporter of law enforcement and believes that our community needs to do more to support our first responders. She has pledged to make sure that the sheriff's office has the resources it needs to keep our community safe. This includes providing deputies with the training and equipment they need, as well as increasing the number of deputies on the street

Fiscal Conservative

As a professional in the finance industry and fiscal conservative, Kate knows that we need to respect taxpayers and use tax dollars in the most efficient ways possible. During her tenure as a member of Huber Heights city council, Kate Baker demonstrated her unwavering commitment to fiscal responsibility by approving strong, financially sound budgets. As county commissioner, she will be a watchdog for our tax dollars and make sure that tax dollars are used in the most effective way possible.

ABOUT KATE

Kate Baker is a lifelong community member of Montgomery County. A graduate of Wayne High School in Huber Heights, she also holds an Associate Degree in Financial Management from Sinclair Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Organizational Management from Wright State University.

Kate is a business leader, not a career politician. She understands the struggles of working families, having raised her daughter as a single mom. In 2021, she was elected to the Huber Heights City Council, where she serves on multiple boards and committees to move Huber Heights forward for all its residents. She is now running for County Commissioner because we need a commissioner who is focused on better serving our community, not their next paycheck.
